EME Capital and Ashcombe advise
on investment by Yucaipa
EME Capital and Ashcombe Advisers have acted as joint financial advisers to Soho House on the sale of a majority stake to Yucaipa, the West Coast private equity firm founded by Ron Burkle.
Founded in 1995, Soho House is a private members’ club associated with the film, media and creative industries. The business has grown organically and now has over 26,000 members. In addition to the core private members’ clubs, it includes hotels, restaurants, cinemas and spas across the UK, Europe and the US. Brands within the portfolio include Soho House, Cecconi’s, Pizza East, Cowshed and Townhouse hotels.
The partnership between Yucaipa, Richard Caring and Nick Jones will support the business in its next phase of growth globally.
